This garden was built on land that was developed by the Ito family, the former landowners of Honmiya . From spring to autumn, visitors can enjoy the vibrant changing colors of the four seasons within the garden, including flowers and autumn leaves.

With the arrival of spring, the Somei Yoshino cherry trees in the park, especially around the pond, begin to bloom.the Janohana Palace, a nationally registered tangible cultural property, and the cherry blossoms is magnificent against the blue sky. The 100-meter-long wisteria trellis, said to be 500 years old, is usually at its best around May. The sight of the pale purple wisteria swaying in the wind is breathtaking.
