The planetarium at Koriyama City Fureai Science Museum Space Park in Fukushima Prefecture has been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records. The reason why it is named Guinness is because it is located 104m above the ground. It is known as the world's tallest planetarium.

A landmark spot in Koriyama City is the 133-meter-long "Koriyama Big Eye," which houses Space Park. Space Park is located on the 20th to 23rd floors.

In Japan, there are other planetariums located in high places. That is the Benesse Stardome in Tama Center, Tokyo. This building is located on the 21st floor of Benesse's head office building, and is 100 meters above ground level.
