[Iwaki] Fun and delicious! Why not visit Wonder Farm, a tomato theme park?

Iwaki is a famous tomato producing region blessed with abundant sunlight.
Tomatoes grown in plenty of sunlight are not only delicious, but also contain many ingredients that are beneficial to your health.

Let us introduce you to the charms of Wonder Farm, a unique amusement park themed around Iwaki tomatoes

Pick your own colorful tomatoes!

At the tomato farm, tomatoes are grown using equipment imported from the Netherlands, with a total of 11 varieties! One
experience you should definitely try here is the tomato harvesting experience, which is held on weekends and public holidays.

While strolling through the colorful tomato fields, you can pick nine varieties of tomatoes, including the fruit-like "Hula Girl," the beautiful light green "Midori-chan," and the sweet "Orange Carol," which is rich in beta-carotene.
The participation fee is 800 yen (per bag, tax included). The field may be closed depending on the condition of the tomatoes, so please check in advance if possible.

Discover a variety of delicious flavors and fall in love with tomatoes even more

Of course, you'll want to enjoy plenty of fresh tomatoes!
Mori no Kitchen, a buffet-style restaurant, offers around 30 different dishes using tomatoes and other Iwaki ingredients.
Popular staples include pizza baked in a stone oven and the cherry tomato chocolate fountain, with many repeat customers coming just for these. Tomatoes are also used in a variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes and sweets, and the restaurant is full of charm that will turn even those who weren't particularly interested in tomatoes into tomato lovers. If you're
wondering about the price, lunch is reasonably priced at 1,500 yen for adults (middle school students and above), 800 yen for children (second to sixth grade), and 500 yen for kids (ages four to first grade). (Prices exclude tax.)
However, Mori no Kitchen is very popular, so we recommend making reservations early.

Enjoy hands-on events and original souvenir selection

At Mori no Marche, you can buy freshly picked tomatoes as well as premium tomato juice, tomato jam, and other tomato products that are only available here

In addition, cooking classes and other events are held from time to time, so be sure to check their website or Facebook before heading out. With
the coming season of outdoor fun approaching, be sure to visit Iwaki's newest attraction, where you can enjoy a variety of activities amid the rich nature of Satoyama.
