[Inawashiro Town, Fukushima Prefecture] We went to Inawashiro Herb Garden in the hopes of taking Instagrammable photos in the fall!

I heard that there was an Instagrammable spot at Inawashiro Herb Garden, so I thought, "I want to see it! I want to take a picture!" and headed over there. The scenery there was even more beautiful than the reputation

Lake Inawashiro is also nearby, making it a perfect driving course

We would like to introduce this as a recommended spot

There are a lot of images so that you can enjoy it just by looking at the photos, so I hope you will read to the end

So, let's take a look

The much talked about Instagrammable

Colorful umbrellas! Japanese umbrellas are also displayed and are very beautiful. In fact, this is an indoor space with water in front of it

The water mirror is really beautiful!

The day we visited was a sunny day, so the sunlight filtered in and reflected off the building, making it look twice as beautiful

There are also photo stands and handheld rainbow-colored umbrellas available for you to use freely

Many couples and friends visited the place, and although there was a waiting line to take photos, everyone was well-mannered and we had a great time taking photos

There was also a couple who were enjoying taking photos of their dog, such as "Dog and Umbrella." It was also amusing to see the dog not listening to what they wanted, and everyone was patiently waiting for the right opportunity to take a photo

It's not just umbrellas that are Instagrammable!

The room decorated with umbrellas was a greenhouse with bougainvillea competing for beauty

Although it felt a little out of season, there were wind chimes hanging on the approach to the umbrella spot. It must have felt very refreshing in the summer

Outside, there's a vast view and Halloween

the kochia was magnificent. In the foreground was a field of cosmos , but the wind from Lake Inawashiro blew it up, and autumn deepened earlier than in the city, so the flowers fell late and are now sparse.

Halloween decorations were also seen everywhere

It's quite surreal and may be scary for small children

As you'd expect from a herb garden, herbs were in bloom!

The amethyst sage was also blooming with beautiful purple flowers. Since it is grown in a greenhouse, it can bloom in any season.

Outside, thyme was also blooming, its flowers blooming late in the season, undeterred by the chilly wind.

Stretch your legs and head to Lake Inawashiro

The contrast between the clouds and the blue sky was just right. The wind blowing across the lake was a little chilly, but it felt very pleasant

It made me wonder if this is what they mean when they say the air is fresh

The image above was taken from the passenger seat of a moving car. Lake Inawashiro was right next to us, and it was a very scenic drive

When driving on National Route 49, there is a section where you can drive right next to Lake Inawashiro

You can see the lake from the car window, making it the perfect place for a drive, and there is a large parking lot where you can take a break and public toilets, so you can go out with peace of mind

At dusk, it was so beautiful that I wondered where I was , and it was definitely a sunset beach!

Of course, a jacket is necessary in the evenings in October. It wasn't a particularly windy day, but the wind blowing across the lake was cold. According to locals, it's natural for winter to be cold, but the wind here is strong and snow falls sideways

The lake in winter is also attractive, but you need to be sure to take proper measures to protect yourself from the cold and check your snow tires.

Lake Inawashiro is great in the summer, perfect for camping and splashing around in the water. It's great to visit with the family, but even a casual drive by yourself can be a great way to refresh yourself

Peak season doesn't matter! There are many ways to enjoy tourist spots

When you think of herb gardens, you might imagine visiting them in the spring, but that's not the case at all. In the summer, they entertain visitors with their refreshing leaves, and in the fall, they delight in the autumn leaves and the Instagram-worthy photos

We also visited Lake Inawashiro while walking around the area, and the quiet scenery after the summer bustle had passed and the cool breeze blowing across the lake were very pleasant

It was dusk, so I felt relaxed both physically and mentally

Although it may seem out of season, I was reminded that tourist spots can be enjoyed in any season. If you have the opportunity, why not give it a go? I highly recommend a trip around Inawashiro, Fukushima Prefecture, in the depths of autumn!
