Hop Japan (Tamura City)
This microbrewery opened in 2020 in the mountains of the Abukuma Highlands west of Koriyama. It was founded with the aim of bringing back vitality to the town that had lost its vitality in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake by releasing beer made with hops grown with the cooperation of local farmers

Minamiaizu Mountain Brewing (Minamiaizu Town)
This microbrewery, which opened in 2018 near JR Aizu-Tajima Station, is run by the owner of a local lumber mill, who is dedicated to brewing beer with the desire to establish a craft beer culture in Minamiaizu Town
The Taproom Beer Fridge, attached to the brewery, is a small space with four counter seats and two four-seater tables, but as you'd expect from a lumber mill owner, you can feel the warmth of the wood and the relaxing atmosphere

Highland Port Brewery (Nishigo Village)
This microbrewery was established in 2018 in Nishigo Village, on the border with Tochigi Prefecture
The beers are made from 100% malt, are unheat-treated, and unfiltered, and are brewed using Saigo's delicious water.The beers, named after the local areas, have different flavors, with the amount of homemade hops and other ingredients adjusted depending on the altitude
The attached cafe, Oiepan of, is a bakery run by the husband and wife owners. In addition to baking German bread using natural yeast, they also sell craft beer and offer beer at lunchtime (reservations required)
