When I told Mr. Matsumoto about my feelings as a cancer patient from Kesennuma and a fan of Galaxy Express 999, Mr. Matsumoto sent me a piece of colored paper.

As a thank you for the colored paper, the president of Palpo, who was a close friend of the cancer patient, sent ``Gotto'' to Mr. Matsumoto, and he decided to design the packaging for free.

Galaxy Gotto was born from Mr. Matsumoto's desire to ``brighten up the disaster-stricken areas.''

The package depicts the earth, stars, and ocean, expressing hope for recovery.
