Do you know "Slimbe Homanda Mochi"? If you don't know it, it's very hard to read
This time we would like to introduce Slimebe Homandu Mochi which was jointly developed with Zunda Saryo
What is Slimebehomunda Mochi?
Slimebeho Zunda Mochi is a joint development between the smartphone game Dragon Walk and Zunda Saryo, a zunda sweets specialty store run by Kasho Sanzen Co., Ltd

"Sendai Specialty Zunda Mochi" has been released exclusively as part of this collaboration, with the rice cake that wraps the zunda paste in a "zunda color" to make it easier to enjoy "Zunda Mochi," a traditional food culture of Sendai
What is Zunda Mochi?
Zunda mochi is a dish made by mashing boiled edamame beans and adding sugar to the mixture, which is then coated with mochi rice cakes or placed on top of dumplings. It is a local confectionery found in the southern Tohoku region, particularly Miyagi Prefecture. It's also one of my favorites!

What is Dragon Quest Walk?
This is a location-based RPG in which you play as the protagonist and embark on an adventure through a virtual reality world that has been transformed into the world of Dragon Quest

The game features a symbol encounter format where you walk around the field and approach monsters displayed on the map to fight them, and you can enjoy the familiar Dragon Quest command battle style in battles
Real Souvenir Project? Part 6?
This is the sixth installment, and so far, the "Slime Kamaboko" from Kanagawa Prefecture, the "100,000 Gold Manju" from Saitama Prefecture, the "Slime Niwaka Senbei" from Fukuoka Prefecture, the "Slime Uiro" from Aichi Prefecture, and the "Momiji Manju Slime" from Hiroshima Prefecture have all been realized. It seems that they have been collaborating with local specialties!
In the smartphone game "Dragon Quest Walk," players can accept special quests by actually visiting locations in the game called "landmarks," and by completing them they can obtain in-game items called "souvenirs."
The "Real Souvenir Project" is a project that aims to actually create and recreate these "souvenirs."
First, look at this package!
It's designed to be a three-dimensional Slime Behomazun, and I want it just for this! It's so cute!!

Apparently, it's because the souvenir "Zundamochi" that can be obtained in the game is based on Slime Behomazun! I myself haven't done the Dragon Walk, but regardless, it's so cute that I want it! I want to display it in my room!

The side also features the Dragon Quest Walk logo, Zunda Saryo logo, slime, and edamame patterns! What a lovely design! So cute!!

When I opened the package, I found the zunda mochi individually wrapped to represent the hearts of the four monsters. They were so cute! I didn't want to open them! I wanted to display them as they were! But I'm going to eat them anyway, because it would be a waste
Try it for yourself!
The area around its head is like a little slime!

However, this one doesn't seem to be specifically designed for Dragon Quest. When you eat it, it's packed with bouncy beans. As for the taste, you can clearly taste the edamame, and the sweetness of the sugar fills your mouth with a subtle sweetness. The simple sweetness of the sugar that doesn't overpower the flavor of the beans is great! Elegant. I'm sure this goes well with tea. It's also bite-sized, so you can eat it in one sitting! It's the perfect afternoon snack!
Conclusion
I explained and reviewed the popular Slimebe Homanda Mochi, and what struck me first was how cute and well-made the packaging was
And it's fun to try a collaboration between a famous, long-established store and a game! And of course, the zunda mochi is delicious. As the author is from Sendai, I'm very happy that an opportunity like this will help spread Sendai specialties throughout the country. It's also fun to learn about famous sweets from all over the country through a game. This is a limited-time sale until May 31st. It contains 8 pieces. It costs 1,480 yen including tax. If you're interested, hurry up!
