Aomori Prefecture is home to both mountains and the sea, so there are many things to enjoy because of its rich nature.
I have a longing to live in the city, but once I leave Aomori Prefecture, I become even more impressed with the beauty of Aomori Prefecture.
So this time, we'll be introducing things you'll want to enjoy just because you're in Aomori Prefecture, and things you can only experience in Aomori Prefecture. It is no exaggeration to say that if you conquer this, you have conquered Aomori Prefecture!
1. Make your own original rice bowl with Nokkedon!
``Nokke-don'' is a process of buying small portions of food from the market at the Aomori Fish and Vegetable Center and making your own bowl. You can put only what you like on it, so don't worry if you have picky tastes! In addition to raw foods, we also have side dishes and miso soup, so everyone from children to adults, young and old, can enjoy it.
It's easy to use; you buy a meal ticket for 540 yen (5 tickets) or 1,080 yen (10 tickets).
First, buy a bowl of rice and then just look around at the various shops. If you find any ingredients you like, you can exchange them for meal tickets and add them as you like.

2. Participate in the Nebuta Festival, a major summer event!
Aomori Nebuta is one of the most famous summer festivals in Japan. It is held from August 2nd to 7th every year and attracts over 3 million tourists.
Just watching the powerful chants of ``Nebuta'' and ``Haneto'' is a lot of fun.
It is said that if you watch it along the road, the bell worn by Haneto will fly towards you, and if you catch it, you will be happy.
If you shout "Give me a bell!", you may receive one.
Those who are not satisfied with just watching can also participate. Anyone can participate, even tourists, as long as they wear an official costume. It is sold as a complete set at department stores in Aomori City.

3. Receive power at Takayama Inari Shrine, which will make you feel like you are in another world!
Speaking of torii gates, Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto is famous, but there are also Senbon Torii gates in Aomori Prefecture.
Takayama Inari Shrine is home to a wide variety of beliefs, including agriculture, commerce, industry, fishing, household safety, healing from illness, protection on the road, and removing haunted spirits.
Takayama Inari Shrine has over 200 torii gates, and once you enter there is a Japanese garden surrounding a winding path, with countless torii gates lined up.
It is covered with snow in winter, and cherry blossoms bloom in abundance in spring. Recently, it has become popular as a power spot.

In addition to seeing the exhibits, you can actually experience things like flying an airplane, so not only children but adults can have fun together.

If you go to Aomori Prefecture, the northernmost tip of Tohoku, you'll want to go to the northernmost tip of Aomori Prefecture. The northernmost tip of Aomori is Oma Town, famous for its tuna.
There is a ``Tuna Monument'' named after Oma's tuna, which is a life-sized 440kg monument that was landed in 1994.
Now it has become a photo spot for tourists. In addition to tuna, there is also the Omasaki Lighthouse, which has been selected as one of Japan's top 50 lighthouses.
