Chusonji Temple

Chuson-ji Temple, which houses several important cultural properties including the Golden Hall (Konjikido), a UNESCO World Heritage Site,
is also famous as a power spot.

Chusonji Temple Golden Hall

Among all the buildings in Chuson-ji Temple, the "Golden Hall" is said to possess the strongest power.
As its name suggests, it is believed to bring good fortune in money matters and is a popular spot within Chuson-ji Temple!

The Buddha enshrined there is said to have the power to improve and enhance human relationships, and it is said that one can also receive blessings for finding love

Another spot that I definitely recommend within the vast grounds of Chusonji Temple is Tsukimizaka, where large cedar trees over 300 years old line the grounds

This place has incredibly pure air and is a spot overflowing with the power to purify the mind. Walking the path from Tsukimizaka to the main road will help you clear away distracting thoughts and negative emotions.
Rather than bringing good luck, it's a place to confront yourself and regain your composure! It's a place full of energy. Please do take a stroll and enjoy the clear air at a leisurely pace.

Takkoku-no-Iwaya Bishamon-do Temple

Takkoku-no-Iwaya Bishamondo is the oldest temple in Hiraizumi Town, Iwate Prefecture.
unique structure, with a shrine nestled within a sheer cliff face, is truly remarkable.
Founded 1200 years ago, it was a beloved landmark for many historical figures, including Minamoto no Yoritomo and Date Masamune.

It is said that in the past, many defeated warriors hid in this shrine, and it is filled with the power of "rebirth," as it was a place where they renewed their resolve to go into battle again.
This power spot is recommended for those who want to change their mindset or make a fresh start.

Koishihama Station

As its name suggests, Koishihama Station is a place that people hoping for success in love will want to visit.
It is an unmanned station on the Sanriku Railway Minami-Rias Line, a local line in Iwate Prefecture.
When it opened in 1985, it was called "Koishihama Station," but in 2009, its name was changed to "Koishihama Station" with the aim of revitalizing the local area.
Many tourists visit the station because they can enjoy the view of the Sanriku Sea from the platform, which is located on a small hill with a good view.

Displayed in the waiting room are votive tablets made from scallop shells.
These are unique votive tablets made using scallops, a local specialty.
Among the various wishes, many people seem to be praying for success in love, perhaps hoping to benefit from the station's name.

Although it has a short history, it is said that writing a votive tablet and ringing the bell of happiness will bring success in love, and many young women and couples visit the shrine

Ryusendo Cave

Ryusendo Cave is one of Japan's three largest limestone caves and is also designated as a national natural monument.
Its underground lake, known as "Dragon Blue" for its exceptional clarity, has been selected as one of Japan's 100 best waters.

The shimmering blue underground lake has an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you could be sucked in at any moment, making it a very spiritual place.
It is said that those who visit will have their "third eye opened and be able to see the truth of things," and that they will be able to "break through the current situation and move on to a new stage."

Because of this, it is said to bring good fortune in "success in competitions, careers, and health."
Furthermore, in recent years, it has also become well-known as a power spot for "success in love."
This was due to its designation as a "Lover's Sanctuary" in 2014.
A heart-shaped dragon monument has been installed at the entrance, attracting attention.
The third underground lake inside the cave occasionally takes on a heart shape, and many people visit hoping to receive blessings from this naturally formed heart shape.

Ryusendo Cave is currently closed due to flooding caused by heavy rains in August 2016.
It is scheduled to reopen around March 2017.
