Eco Camp Michinoku can be enjoyed empty-handed
Normally, when you go camping, you prepare a lot of things like a tent, pegs, solid fuel, etc. However, at Eco Camp Michinoku, you can go empty-handed
You can rent everything from tents to cooking necessities. There are also rental package plans available, so you can rent at a great price
Site Type
There are two types of sites (places where you can set up your tent): auto camping sites and free tent sites
At an auto camping site, the location where you set up your tent is decided from the beginning. At a free tent site, you can pitch your tent wherever you like
Auto camping site
You can choose from auto camping sites of different sizes, A to C. A is for 12 people (5,150 yen overnight), B is for 8 people (4,100 yen), and C is for 6 people (3,100 yen)
Site C also has eight pet-only sites. There is a dog run area, so it's recommended for those who want to camp with their pets
Free Camping Site
The free site is cheaper (accommodation: 1,550 yen). However, good spots such as shady spots tend to fill up quickly, so it is not suitable for beginners
Free sites are recommended for veterans and large groups, but if not, it is safer to choose an auto camping site
There are also cottages
For those who find pitching a tent troublesome or hate insects, there are also cottages available. There are 30 cottages in total
You can choose from five types of cottages, including barrier-free cottages, so those with disabilities can enjoy the experience with peace of mind
All cottages have a terrace where you can have a barbecue
The auto camping site is especially comfortable and recommended
The auto campsite has electricity. The kitchen has hot water, so it's comfortable even in the cold winter. There is also a coin laundry building, so you can do your laundry quickly
Site A's convenient facilities are highly rated
In particular, the A-class sites come with a power outlet, a hot water sink and a wooden table on-site, which you can use exclusively
■Power supply
Nowadays, camping can be extremely inconvenient if you don't have a power source. You want to be able to charge your smartphone or tablet. Flying a drone in nature is especially fun
If you bring a drone, it's safer to have a power source, and you can also use the refrigerator if there is a power source
■Hot water sink
If you have a hot water sink right in front of you and it's yours to use, you can fill the pool with hot water and turn it into a heated pool. Kids will love it
When camping, washing dishes and cooking utensils can be a struggle, so having hot water available makes it much easier to remove grease stains, so that's another big benefit
Large wooden table
Having a wooden table is convenient as it eliminates wobbling and requires no assembly. Although it is expensive, the A site is recommended for families with small children as it allows them to stretch out freely
Convenient points of Eco Camp Michinoku
There is a shop where you can buy firewood. Of course, they also sell drinks and snacks. The prices are reasonable, so you don't have to worry about that
For those who want to have a barbecue but don't want to go through the hassle of preparing it, you can purchase ingredients that have already been cut and are ready to grill (reservations required)
Many people imagine campsite toilets to be smelly and unclean, but Eco Camp Michinoku's toilets have a reputation for being extremely clean
Summary of Eco Camp Michinoku
This time, we introduced Eco Camp Michinoku, a campsite that is easy to use even for beginners. There are many play areas in the surrounding area, and they have planned hands-on events and homemade games (such as getting a free stay if you throw a super ball into a small hole), so you won't get bored
Even if you go empty-handed, you can still rent equipment, but please note that you must make a reservation before using it
