The day "We're Going to Tokyo" was released

On November 25, 1984 (Showa 59) , the hit song "Ore-ra Tokyo sa Ikuda" by enka singer Yoshi Ikuzo , who hails from Kase Village, Kitatsugaru District, Aomori Prefecture (now Goshogawara City) , was released.

Initially, when they pitched the song to various record companies, they were rejected every time. Ultimately, they managed to release it thanks to the support of enka singer Sen Masao , who hails from Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture

After the release, there was a strong protest from his hometown of Kanagi Town, Kitatsugaru District, Aomori Prefecture, who said, "Our town isn't that rural," and there is also an anecdote that he received a large number of complaints from all over Japan, such as "Don't be ridiculous" and "Are you making fun of me?"

TachibanaMuneshige , a member and senior retainer of the Otomo clan of Kyushu and later the first lord of the Tanagura Domain in Mutsu Province, died on November 25, 1642 (January 15, 1643) at his domain residence in Yanagihara, Edo. He was 76 years old

Before being dispossessed of his domain at the Battle of Sekigahara and returning to his status as a daimyo as the lord of the Tanagura Domain, he was one of the leading warlords of Kyushu during the Sengoku period, and was a renowned general highly regarded by Toyotomi Hideyoshi as "a remarkable talent of Kyushu."
