October 6th "Denroku Day" of the play on words "den (10) six (6)". Denroku Co., Ltd., a bean snack manufacturer headquartered in Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture, established the day in 2016 (Heisei 28) to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the release of "Denroku Mame".

The commemorative day was officially certified and registered by the Japan Anniversary Association, a general incorporated association, in the same year (2016)
