As of June 2022, there are five craft beer breweries in Akita Prefecture, three of which were founded during the "local beer boom" at the end of the 20th century and have been producing unique beers for over 20 years.

Together with the two newly opened breweries, we are brewing unique craft beers.

Tazawako Beer (Semboku City)

First established in Akita Prefecture in 1997 by the theater company "Warabiza", the slogan is "brewing beer that can drink 3 liters", and it is the "world's best beer from Akita" that has repeatedly won awards at beer competitions around the world.

Located in the Akita Art Village near the Dakigaeri Valley, you can enjoy freshly brewed beer while enjoying a performance by Warabi-za.

Tazawako Lakeside Mori Beer (Semboku City)

The beer is brewed at Kohan no Mori Restaurant ORAE, which overlooks Lake Tazawa, and has been brewing beer since 1999 that pairs well with food.

``Orae'' means ``my home'' in Akita dialect, and it is a restaurant where you can enjoy a beer while relaxing under the care of the staff.

Many limited edition products are made, and we also undertake contract brewing within Akita Prefecture.

Akita Akura Beer (Akita City)

The brewery was built in 1997 as a renovated sake brewery in the city, and they brew five standard varieties and over 20 seasonal varieties, which you can enjoy at the restaurant on the second floor.

Various styles of beer have been brewed, from the German style when it was founded to the American style IPA that makes use of Yokote hops in recent years.

BREWCCOLY (Bruccoli: Akita City)

A microbrewery whose name is a combination of "brewery" and the owner's favorite food "broccoli" was born in 2018 in Nakadori, Akita City.

Aiming to become a ``town beer shop,'' they are producing beer that is simply made and that you won't get tired of drinking. You can always enjoy 5 types of beer in the tap room where you can see 3 beer tanks, and you can bring your own food.

Ugo Beer (Ugo Town)

Ugo Town in the southern part of Akita Prefecture is a small town with a population of about 13,000 that is famous for the ``Nishima Onnai Bon Odori'' and ``Nishima Onnai Soba.'' It was established in October 2016 with the aim of revitalizing the town. I did.

Beer made at a brewery that has been renovated from a local miso brewery was previously only available at restaurants and liquor stores in Akita Prefecture, but from January 2021 it will be available for purchase on the official website mail order site.

GA001 Golden Ale: Made with local Akitakomachi rice, refreshing and light with just the right amount of bitterness.
