Date of establishment of Shonai Bank (Yamagata Prefecture)

Shonai Bank , one of Yamagata Prefecture's leading regional banks, is headquartered in Yamagata City (its head office location will be changed from Tsuruoka City to Yamagata City in 2025). Its predecessor was the 67th National Bank, and April 7, 1941 (Showa 16) through the merger of Kazama Bank, Tsuruoka Bank, and Dewa Bank.

In 2009, a financial holding company, Fidea Holdings Co., Ltd. Hokuto Bank, , and became a wholly owned subsidiary.

is scheduled to merge with Hokuto Bank and "Fidea Bank."
