Date of establishment of Shonai Bank (Yamagata Prefecture)

Shonai Bank銀行 , one of Yamagata Prefecture's leading regional banks, is headquartered in Yamagata City (its head office location will be changed from Tsuruoka City to Yamagata City in 2025). Its predecessor was the 67th National Bank, and it was formed on April 7, 1941 (Showa 16) through the merger of Kazama Bank, Tsuruoka Bank, and Dewa Bank.

In 2009, we established the financial holding company Fidea Holdings Co., Ltd. together with Hokuto Bank, the leading regional bank in Akita Prefecture , and became a wholly owned subsidiary of it.

From January 1, 2027 (Reiwa 9), it is scheduled to merge with Hokuto Bank and change its name to "Fidea Bank"
