the largest bridal procession in Japan,known asThe Nanahokai procession,is famous. It consists of about 30 women dressed in the Edo period bridal attire of "long-sleeved kimono with their hair covered by a tsunokakushi (a type of bridal headdress) and styled in a bunkin takashimada hairstyle," along with over 100 relatives and retainers of the Otoya group, who march toward the shrine to offer seven offerings.
