The Sendai Anpanman Children's Museum & Mall is a new tourist attraction located at the ever-developing east exit of Sendai Station.

Kids will be excited! Museum Zone!

Upon entering the museum, you'll meet Anpanman and his friends in the "Welcome Plaza"!
The dioramas of popular characters are sure to fill you with excitement.
And once you pass through the "Rainbow Hill," you'll finally be in the world of Anpanman! You can
pretend to be a character, take pictures of yourself in that role, and enjoy the facility in any way you like!

My recommendation is "The Bread Factory Hill"!
Here you can have fun pretending to make bread using Anpanman and Melonpanna's faces and sets just like in the anime, and it's really just like the anime!
Take a commemorative photo feeling like Uncle Jam!

Eat character bread in the food zone!

After a day of fun in the museum zone, you're bound to be hungry.
That's when it's time for a meal in the food zone!
The many dishes, inspired by the world of Anpanman, are not only delicious but also visually appealing!

What really catches the eye is "Uncle Jam's Bakery"!
The shop is lined with bread shaped like the faces of Anpanman characters!
Eating bread shaped like your favorite character is sure to give you a hundred times more energy!

If you have too many favorite characters to choose from, we recommend the Zunda Anpanman, available exclusively in Sendai!
This bread is filled with plenty of zunda bean paste, a specialty of Sendai, and has a fantastic chewy texture!
Since you're in Sendai, you should definitely give it a try!

There are plenty of fun souvenirs for adults too!

If you're looking for souvenirs at the Anpanman Museum, the museum shop is a must-visit.
The museum shop isn't part of the free-to-enter shopping mall, but a small shop located inside the museum. They
have exclusive items that you can only buy here – cute and stylish items that even adults can enjoy!
It's definitely a shop you should stop by before heading to the mall area!

Of course, the shopping mall was also incredibly exciting!
There was an amazing number of goods on display, but if I were to choose a souvenir, it would definitely be the "Kamishibai" (picture story show) from Mori no Honya (Forest Bookstore)!
The box transforms into a stand for the kamishibai, so you can have a proper storytelling session at home!
Families with children will surely love it!
