The Sendai Anpanman Children's Museum & Mall is a new tourist attraction located at the east exit of the ever-growing Sendai Station.
As an experiential museum where you can virtually experience the world of Anpanman, it gives dreams, hope, and smiles to not only children but also adults!

Kids will be excited! Museum Zone!

Upon entering the museum, you'll meet Anpanman and his friends at the "Welcome Square"!
Just looking at the dioramas of popular characters will get you excited.
Then, once you pass through the "Rainbow Uphill Path," you'll finally be in the world of Anpanman!
You can enjoy the facility in any way you like, whether that be pretending to be a character or taking photos!

My recommendation is "Bread Factory Hill"!
Here you can enjoy pretend bread making using the faces of Anpanman and Melonpanna and a set just like in the anime, which is also just like the anime!
Why not take a commemorative photo pretending to be Uncle Jam?

Eat character bread in the food zone!

After playing in the Museum Zone, you'll probably be hungry.
At that point, it's time to eat in the Food Zone!
The many dishes created with the world of Anpanman in mind are not only delicious, but also visually appealing!

If you have too many favorite characters to choose from, we recommend Zunda Anpanman, which is only available in Sendai!
This bread is filled with plenty of Zunda bean paste, a Sendai specialty, and has a great crunch!

If you're looking for souvenirs from the Anpanman Museum, you can't miss the museum shop.
The museum shop is not a shopping mall with free admission, but a small store inside the museum.
The limited edition products that can only be purchased here are all cute and stylish items that adults can use too!
This is a shop that you should definitely stop by before going to the mall area!

Of course, the shopping mall is also a big hit!
There are an incredible number of goods on display, but if I were to choose a souvenir, it would definitely be Mori no Honya's "Kamishibai"!
The box transforms into a kamishibai stand, so you can enjoy authentic storytelling at home!
