The bus I boarded from Sendai Station arrived at the Fukushima Station East Exit bus pool in no time. It's really close!

When I got off the bus and strolled around the station, Fukushima City's tourism mascot, Momorin, greeted me! This Momorin at the east exit was installed in 2020!

Momorin at the west exit, which will appear later, was installed in 2019, so Momorin at the east exit is her junior.

On the second day, we went from Fukushima Station to Iizaka Onsen. And then I'm on my way home.

From Fukushima Station to Iizaka Onsen, it takes 23 minutes one way on Fukushima Kotsu's local train, Iizaka Line (Iiden). It's also attractive that you can just drop by as it takes about 20 to 25 minutes by car.

From Fukushima Station to Sendai Station

We had a great time, so it's time to head home.

Before boarding the bus to Sendai, go to the nearby 7-Eleven! Get the “flavored rice” only available in Fukushima Prefecture!

In Fukushima Prefecture, mixed rice and seasoned rice are called ajigohan.
