[Miyagi] Rich tonkotsu soy sauce is addictive! Ramendo Sendaikko
table of contents
Ramen Do Sendaikko, affectionately known as Sendaikko Ramen, is a ramen chain with over 10 stores mainly in Sendai.
Established in 1976, our ramen boasts a rich tonkotsu-based soy sauce soup, and once you try it, you'll be addicted!
I even have a Sendai Ramen Day once a month!
Our recommendation
is definitely the ``Nori Ramen'', a shocking ramen that is topped with so much grilled seaweed that you can't even see the noodles!
Sendai people who love Sendai will introduce the recommended stores of "Ramen Do Sendai"!
Sendai ramen is proud of its soup!
Sendai ramen with delicious tonkotsu and soy sauce flavor.
The secret to its deliciousness lies in the abundance of ingredients.
The soup is made by using five times more pork bones than usual and simmering them together with chicken bones, kelp, vegetables, etc. for over two days, resulting in a taste that can be described as a new type of tonkotsu soup that is completely different from "Hakata tonkotsu." I am.
Although the base flavor is the same, each restaurant uses slightly different amounts of ingredients, so some Sendai ramen enthusiasts enjoy comparing the flavors.
When I researched the differences in taste when writing this article, I came across a ridiculous urban legend.
"Ramendo Sendai people have miso flavor and salt flavor."
A different taste from the base!
However, if you look at the menu of your favorite restaurant, you won't find such a description.
I took the plunge and asked the staff.
"It's only available at the Aiko store."
I immediately went to investigate.
Ramendo Sendaikko Aiko branch
Even though the area around JR Rikuzen Ochiai Station is on the outskirts of Sendai City, ramen is a huge battleground.
Located on a land where Gunma, including Mizusawaya, is all over the place, the Ramendo Sendai Koaiko branch is still crowded with parking lots every day.
Looking at the menu, I discovered the miso and salty flavors.
The miso flavor is 860 yen and the saltiness is 760 yen.
So this time I decided to order a miso flavor.
“Do you want thick noodles or thin noodles?”
I've never been asked this before either.
In fact, at the Aiko, Kakyoin, and Rifu stores, you can choose between thick and thin noodles.
So, when I asked the waitress which one she recommended, she replied, ``Is it okay with my preference?'' and replied with a smile, ``Thick noodles.''
The friendly staff is also one of the charms of the Aiko store.
When I tried it, I was surprised to see that the tonkotsu and miso flavors typical of Sendai children matched surprisingly well.
Tonkotsu and miso.
Even though each of them makes a point of their strengths, they each have an exquisite balance that doesn't counteract each other.
The tonkotsu soy sauce is also delicious, but it's also delicious!
Unfortunately, due to the stomach, the salty taste was not possible, but the rich Sendai flavor and light salty taste intertwined, making it an exquisite dish that will bring you a refreshing after-meal.
If you want to enjoy a different taste of Ramen Do Sendaikko, it might be a good idea to go to the outskirts of Sendai!
