The highlight is the models of past contact lines.

The highlight is the Seikan Railway Ferry Memorial Museum. There are many valuable materials and equipment from the time of service being launched on display.

Starting with the first "Hirafumaru", you can see models of all time brave ships. The models of the Daiichi Seikanmaru and Toyamaru, which can be considered tragic ships, are particularly moving.

The Daiichi Seikanmaru was sank in 1945, just before the end of the war, when 300 Grumman carrier-based fighter jets were attacked. The Toyamaru was sank with 1,430 casualties due to the large typhoon of 1954. The vivid appearance of one day is revived as a model.
