Orai Cafe is a cafe located in the Oka area of Nakayama-cho, where the mansions of the Kashiwakura family and its branch family, who were active in the production of safflower during the Edo period, still remain.

Let's head for the cafe through a path surrounded by a black wall that gives you a sense of history.

A treasure trove of ingredients! A garden with about 200 types of plants in full bloom

Orai Cafe is located in a corner of the grounds of the former Kisaku Kashiwakura residence. It is surrounded by the Okaeri Garden, where approximately 200 types of plants and herbs bloom throughout the year.

Pay attention to the menu that changes seasonally

At Orai Cafe, we offer a variety of menu items that use seasonal herbs grown in the garden and agricultural products harvested within Nakayama Town.

The soda made with fresh herbs that are picked after the order is placed has a refreshing feel that will help you reset your daily stress.

Orai Cafe also has a summer limited menu called ``Ginger Ale with Safflower'' that uses safflower grown near the cafe. Safflower has the effect of improving blood flow and improving coldness.

une is a complex community space located in Mogami Town, a town rich in nature, on the border with Miyagi Prefecture.

In addition to a cafe, there is also a co-working space and a children's play area, and it is expected to be a hub for creating a related population in Mogami Town. It is located about 20 minutes by car from Naruko Gorge, a scenic spot in Miyagi Prefecture, and right next to Akakura Onsen, which has an abundant amount of hot water and a long history.

The juicy deep-fried shiitake mushrooms are coated with a soy sauce-based seasoning that will appeal to both adults and children.
