Founding date of Hokuto Bank (Akita Prefecture)

Hokuto Bank , one of Akita Prefecture's leading regional banks with its head office in Akita City , May 3, 1895 (Meiji 28) as Masuda Bank in Masuda Town, Akita Prefecture (now Yokote City). In 1922, it changed its name to Ugo Bank, and in 1993 merged with Akita Akebono Bank, the second-tier regional bank, to become the current Hokuto Bank.

In 2009, a financial holding company, Fidea Holdings Co., Ltd. Shonai Bank, , and became a wholly owned subsidiary.

bank is scheduled to merge with Shonai Bank and "Fidea Bank."
