The Hatsuuma Festival will be held in Kami Town, Kami District, Miyagi Prefecture , and the Nakashinda fire-prevention tiger dance will be performed.

The festival, held every year on April 29th , features the Toramai dance, which is designated as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Miyagi Prefecture and a National Intangible Folk Cultural Property for which measures should be taken to record it . It is a traditional performing art with a history of approximately 650 years.
