The deliciousness of Kitakata ramen is famous throughout the country, but there was a small restaurant known only to those in the know that served delicious Kitakata ramen, far from the Kitakata city area where many ramen shops were crowded.

The other day, a TV program called ``Delicious Restaurants on the Prefectural Border'' was broadcast, and I definitely want to try this! So I decided to visit. The result is certain! It was a delicious restaurant

As a meat lover like me, the classic char siu noodles is my go-to! It's an amazing price of 800 yen for this amount of char siu.

The char siu was excellent. It had a melt-in-your-mouth taste, and the seasoning was neither too strong nor too light. When I first saw it, I thought it had a lot of chashu, but I ate it as if I could go for as many slices as I wanted.

My partner ordered miso tanmen.

Surprising amount of vegetables . No matter how much you eat, you never get to the noodles...and the vegetables are surprisingly sweet !

It seems that the vegetables are grown locally and by people in the neighborhood. It looked like I would be satisfied with just the vegetables , so of course I had to have some vegetables as well. It was really sweet and delicious.

The miso tanmen was very satisfying, with plenty of chopped pork fillet. Salt tanmen is also said to be a popular menu item.

The miso tanmen costs 800 yen and the salt tanmen costs 750 yen, making it a very reasonably priced dish for this size. I'm fantasizing about having salted tanmen next time - I can't forget the char siu after all.

By the way, the noodles are hand-made, flat, curly noodles, typical of Kitakata ramen.

It had a chewy and smooth texture and was extremely delicious.

You can also choose the thickness of the soup and the hardness of the noodles.
