We will introduce details about Kitakata Ramen, a delicious restaurant on the prefectural border that has been featured on TV, as well as recommended spots nearby
There are plenty of photos, so be prepared for your stomach to growl as you read!
The nationally famous "Kitakata Ramen" is a must-try even on the outskirts of town!
The deliciousness of Kitakata ramen is famous throughout the country, but away from the crowded downtown Kitakata area where many ramen shops are located, there is a small restaurant that only those in the know know about that serves delicious Kitakata ramen
I recently saw a TV program called "Delicious Restaurants on the Prefectural Border" and thought, "I absolutely have to try this!" So I went and visited the restaurant. And itwas exactly as I expected! It was a delicious restaurant.

As a meat lover, I chose the classic char siu noodles! The amount of char siu was surprisingly low at 800 yen
absolutely deliciouswasIt melted in my mouth, and the seasoning was just right—not too strong, not too weak. At first glance, I thought there was a lot of char siu, but I ate it all up in no time, feeling like I could eat any number of slices.
My partner ordered miso tanmen

The amount of vegetables is astonishing. No matter how much I ate, I couldn't get to the noodles... and what's more, the vegetables were surprisingly sweet!
Apparently, these vegetables are grown locally, by neighbors no less. They were so delicious I could have been satisfied with just the vegetables alone, and of course, I got to enjoy some too. They were really sweet and tasty.
The miso tanmen was filled with chunks of pork slices and was very satisfying. The salt tanmen is also a popular menu item
The prices are 800 yen for miso tanmen and 750 yen for salt tanmen, so they are very reasonably priced for such a large portion. I'm daydreaming about whether I'll have salt tanmen next time - I can't forget the char siu after all
By the way, the noodles are hand-made, flat, curly noodles, typical of Kitakata ramen

The chewy and smooth texturewas absolutely delicious.
You can also choose the thickness of the soup and the firmness of the noodles

By the way, they're only open for three hours during the winter, so please check their opening hours before you visit!

The exterior is simple, and it looks like a typical diner

Is there a hot spring resort right next to Omori Shokudo?

Atsushio Kano Town, where Omori Shokudo is located, is the town where Atsushio Onsen is located
Across the road, you will find the hot spring resort facility "Yume no Mori Onsen Facility."
This is a facility we recommend for a quick bath. The water is a little hot, but many people say that it contains many skin-beautifying ingredients, warming the body from the inside out and leaving it smooth and silky
