Yakurai Garden Rose & Herb Fair

Roses are the flower that represents June in Miyagi.
The brightly colored roses that bloom all month long capture the hearts of those who see them.
If you want to admire roses and herbs to your heart's content, we recommend Yakurai Garden.

Rose & Herb Fair will be held from June 3rd to July 2nd in 2023

Yakurai Garden will be holding a Rose & Herb Fair from June 3rd to July 2nd.
At the 15-hectare flower garden at the foot of Mt. Yakurai, you can see 6,000 roses of 350 varieties, making it the best time to see them all year round.

It seems that rose seedlings will also be sold at the same time during the period, and about 40 types of roses will be on sale, and you can purchase them directly from the gardeners on the weekends.

There are eight theme gardens in the garden, including a rose garden, herb garden, and Fururu no Oka, which delight us with a variety of colors each season. Roses and herbs are in full bloom in June, but lavender is in full bloom in July.

Why not visit the park according to your preference?

summary

It is a shame that the ``Minami Kurikoma Kogen Ichisako Lily Garden'', which has been entertaining the eyes of Miyagi residents during this period for many years, has closed its 30-year history with the 2020 season.

When you think of Miyagi Prefecture, you think of Sendai, but the botanical gardens introduced this time are all in nearby cities.
If you avoid the standard Sendai and participate in a flower event in the suburbs, you are sure to have a different memory of Miyagi than anyone else!
Let's show off to your friends with your wonderful photos!
