Access to Licca-chan Castle

By car, it takes about 5 minutes from the Ono IC on the Ban-etsu Expressway. It takes about 1 hour from Fukushima city. This castle is set in the mountains and stands out from the surrounding towns. It's a fairy tale castle with a blue roof, and the closer you get to it, the more excited you get. Parking is free. If you look at the license plates of the parked cars, you'll see that they come from all over the country.

Go through the gate labeled "Licca Castle". Licca-chan Castle opened in 1993 and has a surprisingly long history. It features a museum displaying Licca-chan dolls released in the past and a factory where you can tour the manufacturing process.

There is a reception outside. Purchase admission tickets here (800 yen for high school students and above, 600 yen for 2 years old and above - junior high school students). As you enter, you will see an apple garden on your right, a cafe on your left, and a castle with a museum in front.

When you enter the castle, you will see a carpet on the floor with the words "Welcome! Licca Castle!" written on it. At the front is a life-sized Licca-chan doll called "Welcome Licca-chan." This Licca-chan actually speaks and welcomes you. There are many people taking photos here.

Next to the life-sized Licca-chan, there is a female-only dress (rental free, no time limit). This dress is well made and can be worn over any clothes you are currently wearing. Sizes are available from 80 to 160 cm. This is a dress that will make both adults and children feel like Licca-chan.

At the Licca-chan Museum on the second floor, you can see all the Licca-chans from the first generation to the current fourth generation. An audio guide called ``Licca-chan Navi'' is available, so if you touch the heart icon on the show window, you can listen to the story only available here.
