[Fukushima] Would you like to refresh yourself at Mt. Adachi Tara by looking at the "real sky" and soaking in a hot spring?

Mount Adachitara is an active volcano located in central Fukushima Prefecture with an altitude of 1,718m, and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains and Tsukushishima's 100 Famous Mountains.
Adachi Tarasan has appeared in various literature since the time of the Manyoshu, but it was Kotaro Takamura's Chiekosho that made the name of this mountain popular among many people. One of the stories, ``An Innocent Story,'' depicts Kotaro's wife, Chieko, saying, ``The blue sky that spreads over Mt. Adatara is the ``real sky.''

In 2017, the mountain opening ceremony was held on May 15th at Mt. Adachi Tara. I would like to show you how to enjoy it.

Mt. Adatara is even more appealing once you climb it. You can also use the gondola lift halfway!

Just looking at Mt. Adatara from the base is soothing with its calm appearance, but many people also visit for mountain skiing and mountain climbing.
Best of all, you can take a gondola lift up to Mt. Yakushi at the 8th station (nearly 1300m above sea level), making it easy for beginners to try climbing. From June to July, azaleas, rhododendrons, and the pretty alpine plant Iwakagami are at their peak, so you can enjoy trekking while admiring the flowers.

The hot springs at the mountain hut "Kurogane Koya" are also a big attraction of climbing Mt. Adachi Tara.
It is an acidic spring, which is rare in Japan, and it is very popular as not only hotel guests but also people who can stop by and take a bath. Unfortunately, damage to the bathtub was recently discovered, and the use of the bathroom has been suspended since June. Masu. Please check http://www.tif.ne.jp/kuroganegoya/ for the latest status of Kuroganegoya

The same hot spring source as this Kurogane hut is fed to Mt. Dake Onsen at the foot of the mountain. What's more, the hot spring water is mixed while flowing to Dake Onsen, making it a hot spring that feels good on the skin while retaining its ingredients. So, if you visit Mt. Adachi Tara, be sure to stop by Dake Onsen!
