table of contents
Why not enjoy Sendai right from the moment you get off the train or Shinkansen at JR Sendai Station?
In fact, you can easily enjoy delicious Sendai drinks just by being in two places: inside Sendai Station and the adjacent station building, "S-PAL"!
This time, we will focus on introducing the wonderful drinks you can enjoy at Sendai Station!
Zunda Shake ~Zunda Saryo~
Speaking of great drinks at Sendai Station, the most famous one is undoubtedly the Zunda Shake from Zunda Saryo! The Zunda
Shake became a huge hit after Matsuko Deluxe praised it highly on the popular TV show "Monday Late Night."

The Zunda Shake is made with a generous amount of Zunda paste made from a large amount of edamame soybeans, and is not just sweet, but also has an elegant flavor from the edamame, making it very popular with men!
Also, the granular texture of the edamame beans remains, so you can drink it for hours without getting bored!
By the way, it seems that Matsuko Deluxe enjoyed four cups in one go!
The photo shows Zunda Shake Excella.
The Zunda Shake is topped with a light layer of fresh cream, so if you're in the mood for something sweeter, try the luxurious Excella!

Amazake Latte ~Date Cafe O'der~
A stylish cafe has opened in the souvenir shop on the second floor of Sendai Station.
It's called Date Cafe O'der and focuses on Sendai specialties.
Their recommended drink is the amazake latte!
It's a latte made with amazake from Ichinokura, a famous sake brewery in Miyagi, a rice-producing region.

Amazake is known for its rich sweetness, but amazake latte has a surprisingly light taste.
Its appeal lies in the refreshing feeling after drinking it. What's more, it comes in a variety of
flavors, including milk, matcha, roasted green tea, kinako (roasted soybean flour), strawberry, and ginger, so you won't be able to enjoy it all in one sitting!
You can also enjoy rice dishes such as onigiri in the store, so be sure to enjoy them along with your amazake latte!
