Starting October 17th, 2026 (Saturday) , Espal Fukushima will begin selling "Fukushima Dialect T-Shirts featuring Momorin designs ." There are nine different designs in total, combining Fukushima dialect with local scenery and specialties. These are intriguing local items that can be purchased at Fukushima Station.
Approximately 1,000 shirts sold in 3 months! Espal Fukushima's "Fukushima Dialect T-shirts"
A "Fukushima dialect T-shirt vending machine" was installed on the first floor of S-PAL Fukushima in July 2026. This unique initiative allows customers to buy T-shirts featuring local dialects from a vending machine, and according to the announcement , more than 1,000 shirts were sold in the three months since its installation.

Following its success, a new design incorporating "Momorin" has been added. The design allows you to enjoy words unique to Fukushima together with the local scenery and culture
Fukushima dialect and local motifs on one sheet. Introducing three noteworthy designs
"Hyakkoi" x Snow Rabbits of Mt. Azuma

"Hyakkoi" means "cold." This word is associated with the snow rabbit found on Mount Azuma
The illustration depicts mountains, with Momorin snuggling up beside her, capturing the essence of spring in Fukushima in a single image. The large letters that read "It's so cold!" also catch the eye
"Nda beshita" x Tsuchiyu Kokeshi

"Ndabeshita," which is introduced as meaning "That's right," is based on the Tsuchiyu kokeshi dolls facing each other and having a conversation
Momorin can be seen next to the kokeshi doll. The illustration is friendly and makes you feel like you can hear them talking in the Fukushima dialect
"Thank you" x Iizaka Onsen

The phrase "angatonai," meaning "thank you," is combined with the name of Iizaka Onsen (hot spring). The illustration features a hot spring with a noren (traditional Japanese curtain) hanging, and Momorin (a character from a Japanese manga series)
Even everyday expressions of gratitude take on a different meaning when spoken in the Fukushima dialect. This design evokes the warm atmosphere of a hot spring resort
There will be a permanent display at S-PAL Fukushima, and a limited two-day in-person sales event at Fukushima Station
The new T-shirts will be available for permanent purchase from the vending machine on the first floor of S-PAL Fukushima starting October 17th (Saturday)
