table of contents
There are a total of three Hoshino Resorts hotels in Aomori Prefecture!
When traveling, choosing a slightly higher-ranking hotel is sure to create even better memories. There are many hotels and inns in Aomori Prefecture, but among them, Hoshino Resorts hotels are known for their high quality. We will introduce what kind of facilities they are and the features of each one
Hoshino Resorts Kai Tsugaru
Hoshino Resorts Kai Tsugaru is located in Owani Onsen, known as Hirosaki's inner sanctum. Upon entering the hotel, you'll notice a mural by Matazo Kayama depicting the scenery of Tsugaru. The guest room corridors are also lit with Tsugaru Kogin embroidery patterns, enhancing the feeling of a trip to Aomori
Furthermore, if you choose the local room "Tsugaru Kogin no Ma," you can immerse yourself in a stylish, artistic atmosphere. The kaiseki cuisine, which is rich in seasonal seafood and mountain delicacies, goes perfectly with local sake
A bath made from 2000-year-old ancient cypress is sure to leave your skin feeling moisturized. We also recommend the fruit bath, unique to Aomori, with apples floating in it

Hoshino Resorts Oirase Gorge Hotel
Oirase Gorge, popular for its beautiful natural scenery reminiscent of a painting, is a tourist mecca in Aomori Prefecture. After enjoying a stroll, relax and unwind at Hoshino Resort Oirase Keiryu Hotel
You're sure to feel the breath of nature from the impressive space with its huge fireplace. "Yae Kokonoe no Yu" is an open-air bath overlooking the waterfall, where you can relax while bathing in the forest
Aomori Apple Kitchen, a restaurant that just opened in 2016, features an impressive large apple tree sculpture. There are various types of rooms, but we recommend the mountain stream Japanese-style room, which comes with an open-air bath and terrace overlooking the mountain stream. You'll sleep soundly in this comfortable space, surrounded by the sounds of the flowing stream

Hoshino Resorts Aomoriya
Hoshino Resorts Aomoriya, located in Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture, is about 45 minutes by car from JR Hachinohe Station. On the vast grounds of approximately 750,000 square meters, you can enjoy the characteristically smooth hot spring water and experience the culture of Aomori
The large public bath is particularly attractive, with an open-air bath that juts out into a large pond, the "Hiba-yu" bath with the scent of Aomori hiba, and the "Motoyu" bath with its retro Showa-era rock bath. For dining, you can choose from the show restaurant "Michinoku Matsuri-ya" where two floats parade, "Noresore Shokudo" with its charming home-style kitchen, or the old thatched-roof house "Nambu Magariya."
There are plenty of experience programs, such as a horse-drawn carriage ride through the park and radio calisthenics with Tsugaru dialect chants.
You can get an even more Aomori-like feel in the guest room "Ikutera," which is themed around the Aomori Nebuta Festival.
