94th Ishinomaki River Festival Fireworks Display

This is Ishinomaki City's fireworks festival, held at the mouth of the Kitakami River.
The "Kawabiraki Festival" was started as a token of gratitude to Kawamura Magobei Jukichisen, who saved the city of Ishinomaki by controlling the flooding of the Kitakami River.
Held on the second day of the two-day festival, which begins on July 31st, this fireworks display is expected to be powerful enough to close the festival.
Approximately 6,000 fireworks, including jumbo star mines and illusion star mines, will burst into the night sky to connect Ishinomaki's past and future.

The 48th Sendai Tanabata Fireworks Festival

As you know, the Tanabata festival for Sendai residents is the Sendai Tanabata Fireworks Festival!
Counted among the three major festivals of Tohoku, Sendai city is crowded with tourists over the three days it is held, so many people avoid the city.

The Mahoroba Summer Festival is held in Yamato Town, Kurokawa County.
The outdoor special stage is filled with a variety of exciting events, including a Rio Carnival, and there are stalls and a corner where you can test drive police cars and fire engines, making it fun for both adults and children. The festival concludes with
the Mahoroba Dream Fireworks, and as

Hometown Fireworks in Naganuma

"Hometown Fireworks in Naganuma," held in Tome City, Miyagi Prefecture, is a rare fireworks festival in the prefecture where you can see Niagara fireworks and underwater starmines.
Although there are only 3,000 fireworks, the Niagara fireworks, which are over 200 meters long, are a spectacular sight!
It's definitely a must-see!

The 95th Higashimatsushima City Naruse Floating Lantern Fireworks Festival

Floating lanterns have long been held along the Naruse River in Higashimatsushima City as a memorial service to console the spirits of those who died during the Tenpo famine.
Since the Taisho era, a fireworks display has been held in conjunction with the event, and this year, approximately 1,000 fireworks will beautifully light up the gracefully floating lanterns.

Izumi Ward Hometown Festival

Another major fireworks festival held in Sendai City is the Izumi Ward Citizens' Hometown Festival.
The venue, Nanakita Park, is a large park rich in nature, so we recommend joining the festival before the fireworks display!
