The large exhibition room, reminiscent of the cosmos, is divided into four areas: ``Earth,'' ``Solar System,'' ``Macrocosm,'' and ``History of Astronomy,'' where you can learn about each theme.
In the Earth area, you will learn about the universe as seen from the earth, such as the ``phases of the moon'' and ``the mechanism by which auroras are formed.'' In the solar system area, you will learn about the secrets of the solar system, such as ``Introducing planets'' and ``How to observe the sun.'' In the macrocosm area, you will learn about ``stars.'' The history area of ​​astronomy exhibits ``the history of astronomy'' and the nationally designated important cultural properties ``armillary,'' ``quadrant,'' and ``celestial globe.'' It has been.

The Sendai Astronomical Observatory's planetarium projects a variety of programs, but the one I recommend is ``Starry Sky Time ``Tonight's Starry Sky Walk''.
He will give live commentary on how to enjoy the starry sky, focusing on the constellations and celestial bodies that can be seen that night. The content picked up differs depending on the commentator, so no matter how many times you listen, you'll discover new things.
