The anniversary of the death of Hatsusaburo Yoshida, a bird's-eye view artist

Hatsusaburo Yoshida a bird's-eye view artist who was active from the Taisho to Showa periods, was born on March 4, 1884, in Kyoto Prefecture.

the "Hiroshige of the Taisho era ," he produced an estimated 1,500 to 3,000 or more bird's-eye view drawings throughout his life. In 1932, the Tanesashi Coast in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture , and was so impressed that he established his studio and villa, "Chōkansō," and moved there with his family and apprentices.

, the Hachinohe Clinic Street Corner Museum Hachinohe City houses approximately 2,000 works by Hatsusaburo.

August 16, 1955, at the age of 71. Following a retrospective exhibition held in Osaka Prefecture in 1999, his work is currently undergoing a re-evaluation.
