Glamping which means " " (attractive) camping ," offers almost everything you need to camp, so you can enjoy it casually empty-handed.

Glamping, which has become popular in cities such as the metropolitan area, is a system that has become increasingly popular every year, as it is safe for even those who have had their first experience to enjoy an outdoor life.

In this article, we will introduce Aomori Prefecture's first full-scale glamping facility, which opened in Daikanyama Park, located in the city of Mutsu City in April 2022.

This lush green park is also a place for Mutsu citizens to relax, and is attracting attention as a new style of glamping, where you can enjoy the busy downtown area at night while enjoying the feeling of camping.

First in Aomori! Glamping Trailer

This first dedicated clamping trailer house in Aomori Prefecture has two single beds and a bunk bed that can accommodate up to four people, and has air conditioning and a bioethanol fireplace inside.

The living room has tables and sofas, a large screen with a TV and movie screen, a bathroom with an open-air jacuzzi and a toilet with a washlet.

The mini kitchen has a small refrigerator, BALMUDA oven range and electric kettle for cooking, but we recommend a BBQ on a large deck.

They also have facilities such as hair dryers and hair irons, and are equipped with loungewear and towels, toothbrushes and razors, as well as shampoos and soaps.

Park Trailer where you can stay with your dog

This is an American-style trailer house, with up to three people on two single beds and a sofa bed, and if you bring a cage or something, you can stay with your dog.

Like a glamping trailer, this room is equipped with a bath and toilet, as well as a sofa, table, and other furniture such as a TV, making it a comfortable room.

In addition, the house has a kitchen with a large refrigerator and an induction stove, so you can not only make BBQ but also some elaborate camping dishes.

Up to two large dogs can stay with each guest, and the dog run in the park is free of charge from 9am to 6pm.

DOME TENT is warm even in the middle of winter

Phoenix Rise wood stove inside the dome tent , allowing you to enjoy comfortable glamping even in the middle of winter, and cushions are also placed on the single bed, sofa bed, and table.

When staying in a tent, you can use the clean public toilets in the park 24 hours a day, and the shower room (charges apply) in the management building is also available 24 hours a day (there is no AC power source inside the dome).

Equipment such as BBQ grills can be rented out, and you can enjoy a BBQ on the deck.

Vending machines sell sirloin, kalbi and hormones, as well as pizza made with Frankfurt from Todou beef.

In addition, the next store, which uses a trailer house or school bus, can eat and drink inside the store and take-out, as well as vegetables and other ingredients available for purchase.

The first barrel sauna to make the Shimokita Peninsula

There is a barrel sauna (surcharge) between the two dome tents that allow you to experience the atmosphere of an authentic Finnish sauna.

It is a private 2 hours, divided into 2pm to 4pm (day sauna) and 7pm to 9pm (night sauna).

You can enjoy the roulu with Aomori Hiba distilled water, a water shower and a cold bath (water in winter), and a "3-piece sauna set" available for rent (for a fee): sauna hat, poncho and bath towel.
