Mount Haguro Five-Story Pagoda

Mount Haguro, one of the Dewa Sanzan mountains, is a "Sanshin Gosaiden" (Three Gods Combined Shrine) that enshrines Mount Gassan and Mount Yudono, which cannot be visited during the winter due to snowfall

The five-story pagoda, a national treasure, is particularly impressive, exuding dignity and solemnity in a forest of cedar trees whose age is beyond imagination. The cedar tree near the pagoda is 1,000 years old, has a circumference of 10 meters, and is known as the "Grandpa Cedar."
