What is the charm of Kyohei Fujita? What kind of glass works have you made?

Kyohei Fujita is one of Japan's leading glass artists.
He first studied metal engraving at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts, but switched to glass art.

After joining Iwata Kogei Glass, he soon became independent.
By mixing Japanese accessory boxes with colored glass and gold leaf, which I learned in Italy, I sublimate them into glass works, and bring the traditional Japanese sense of beauty to life in the field of glass crafts.

This work, ``Kazaribako,'' has been praised as a modern-day Rimpa, especially in Europe, for its exquisite decorative beauty, which is part of the ancient Japanese art of ``Rimpa.''

Afterwards, Kyohei Fujita went to Italy and explored new frontiers on Murano Island in Venice.
This is Fujita's Canna, a unique vase with the traditional Canna pattern from Venice.

Both the garden visible from the observation deck and the view of Matsushima from the tea room are photogenic landscapes that can only be seen here, so they are recommended photo spots.
