The areas where the climate, temperature, soil, and topography are suitable for both grape cultivation and wine brewing are concentrated between 30 and 50 degrees north latitude and 20 and 40 degrees south latitude, and are known as the wine belt

Seasonal events are also held here, with the Autumn Harvest Festival held every year in early October being particularly popular. With a wine bar, food court, and live performances by popular musicians, this is the busiest time of the year
The Spring Festival, held during Golden Week, includes a flower arrangement contest and other activities that even those who don't like wine can enjoy
During the Obon holiday season, when people return home to their hometowns, the festival holds a skewer festival, meat festival, and hometown fair. Each event has a different theme, allowing you to enjoy Yamagata cuisine and wine, such as skewered Yamagata beef and Yonezawa beef steak
In September, Takahata Winery will host the Imoni Kai, a traditional autumn dish in Yamagata Prefecture, where you can enjoy imoni and wine. The dish will be packed with autumn flavors, including Yamagata inland-style imoni, which is based on beef and soy sauce, and Shonai-style imoni, which is based on pork and miso
