Which Fukushima local sake will you choose? A sommelier AI appears at the Fukushima Prefectural Tourism and Product Center and Nihonbashi Fukushima Hall "MIDETTE"

"I want to try sake from Fukushima, but with so many brands to choose from, I'm not sure which one to pick..." To help people like you choose sake, an "AI Sommelier" has appeared in Fukushima City and Nihonbashi, Tokyo

The tasting corners at the Fukushima Prefectural Tourism and Product Center and the Nihonbashi Fukushima Hall "MIDETTE" have been introduced . At the tasting corners in both halls, you can sample local Fukushima sake and find the one that suits your taste.

Try different sakes and find your favorite local sake from Fukushima

The system introduced this time is"KAORIUM for Sake & Wine,"It is an AI system that visualizes the flavors of sake and wine in words and suggests alcoholic beverages that suit your preferences.

Users can choose a sake from Fukushima's local brews displayed on a tablet and sample it. They can then enjoy comparing the different sakes while checking the characteristics of each one on a "flavor map."

Even if you can perceive differences in aroma and taste, it's surprisingly difficult to describe them in your own words. By using the words displayed on the screen as clues, you can organize your impressions of the drinks you've had while choosing your beverage

Choose based on taste and mood, and discover your preferred type

KAORIUM"Choose by Taste" and "Choose by Mood." Based on your preferences and mood at the time, AI will suggest local sake.

Furthermore, you can learn what kind of flavors you prefer by actually tasting them. This system allows you to search based on your own senses, even when it's difficult to choose based solely on the brand name

The detailed pages for local sake can also display dishes that pair well with them. This can be helpful when considering sake and food pairings

Supported languages include Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and Korean. We also provide support for those unfamiliar with sake and visitors from overseas when choosing their drinks

Enjoy selecting local sake at two locations: Fukushima and Tokyo

Both of the facilities where the system will be implemented are operated by the Fukushima Prefectural Tourism and Product Exchange Association, a public interest incorporated foundation, and serve as hubs for disseminating information on local sake, specialty products, and tourism in Fukushima
