table of contents
Over the past few years, Fukushima Prefecture has been increasing the number of facilities where you can enjoy glamping in various parts of the prefecture, and each has been bringing out its own unique personality to help people enjoy the "glamorous camping."
Among these, we recommend Mauna Village, launched by Iwaki City's Spa Resort Hawaiians, which is visited by tourists from the metropolitan area.
Hawaiians Glamping Mauna Village (Iwaki City)

This is a full-scale glamping facility opened in July 2021 on the grounds of the Spa Resort Hawaiians Golf Course.
Mauna Village 's " Mauna " is the Hawaiian word " mountain ," and as the name suggests, you can experience an outdoor life casually in a landscape reminiscent of the mountains of Hawaii.
Some plans include tickets for the Spa Resort Hawaiians, and you can easily get around between these facilities by using a free shuttle bus.

You can enjoy the pool and the famous water slides, relax in the hot springs, enjoy dance shows by the hula girls, and spend an extraordinary time relaxing and watching the bonfire in the evening.
Mauna Village will be closed for winter until February 28th, and accommodation reservations will be accepted from March 1st on its official website and other sites.
Four wide and comfortable tents and wood cabins

All tents and cabins are rented out, and each one has a sufficient distance between them, so you can experience glamping without worrying about the surrounding area.
The room has an electric outlet, has air conditioning, refrigerators, electric kettles and safes, and free Wi-Fi is available, and the wood cabin has a bath and toilet.
Amenities include towels, toothbrush sets and tea sets, while shampoos and cosmetics are fully equipped at bathing facilities.

For accommodation in a tent, you will need to use the clean toilets installed in three locations in the glamping area, and the aisles are brightly lit at night, so you can rest assured.
There is a shower building within the area, and the large bath in the golf course clubhouse is available from 1pm to 9pm.
Alternatively, take the shuttle bus to Spa Resort Hawaiians and enjoy the 12 types of hot springs (please bring towels).
Grand Tent (Capacity: 2-4 people, 2 beds)

If you look closely at the interior of the tent, each one is given a theme, you will see that the same design as the costumes of the hula girl singing and dancing in the Hawaiians.
There are 11 buildings, Gran Tents 1-6 and K1-5, with two spacious beds, so you can choose the tent with your favorite interior.
Hills Tent (Capacity: 2-4 people, 2 beds)

Two Hills Tent decks at the top of the area's hills offer panoramic views of the entire Mauna Village, offering views of the golf course and mountains.

The interior of this tent is also unified with the same Hawaiian feel as the Grand Tent, making it a tent that feels like you're camping in the mountains of Hawaii.
Lotus tent (capacity: 2-6 people, 4 beds)

This cute, pointy roofed, fluffy onion-shaped tent is spacious enough to accommodate four semi-double beds side by side, and can accommodate up to six people.
The three lotus tents are very popular overseas due to their cute appearance.
ASOBI tent (capacity: 2-4 people, 2 beds)

The two wood decks built on the hillside are equipped with play equipment such as slides and children's bouldering walls, making them ideal for family glamping with children.
Wood Cabin (Capacity: 2-4 people, 4 beds)

The sturdy wood cabin is filled with warm wood like a log house, with a bath (with shower) and toilet as well as a kitchen with a large sink.
The three comfortable cabins, which seem to be staying in a hotel room, allow both glamping, elderly people and children to enjoy outdoor camping.
Fukushima beef BBQ and eggs Benedict breakfast served on the wood deck

All rooms have an outdoor dining area on the wood deck, with tables and chairs and a complete set of cooking utensils such as BBQ grills.
Even beginners in BBQ are supported by our staff, and even on rainy days, the table and grill are equipped with roofs and curtains to prevent wet, so you can rest assured.
A hearty glamping BBQ

You can enjoy plenty of Fukushima ingredients, including soft Fukushima beef, Furoyama Kogen pork, and Fukushima prefecture vegetables, at your preferred level of grilling.
It's a satisfying volume, including hors d'oeuvres, pot salad with local vegetables, tortillas, seasonal soup, grilled rice balls, and desserts.

Children's menu is available for elementary school students or for those with toddlers.
Furthermore, for hygiene reasons, we cannot bring in ingredients, and there are plenty of ingredients available for the course, so no additional menus are available.

In addition, drinks can be purchased at Village House, and although there is an additional fee, you can bring in the alcohol and wine you want to use in the BBQ.
To wake up, eggs benetic with plenty of hollandaise sauce

The breakfast served in nature after soaking in the sun is mainly eggs Benedict, filled with buttery hollandaise sauce.
Enjoy it with salads and fruits, minestrone soup, and local Fukushima Daio milk yogurt (children's menu is also available for breakfast).
There are many ways to spend time in Mauna Village

Enjoy a pool or hula girl show at the Hawaiians Spa Resort, or relax on the swing at Village Park, or spend an extraordinary time.

However, there is a curfew at the glamping venue (22:30), so be careful not to relax too much at the spa resort.
In addition, you can enjoy a bonfire on the wood deck after dinner, and a large campfire will be burned at Fireplace, making you feel like you're camping in one go.

After enjoying the bonfire, it is time for "silence" from 10pm.
Enjoy a quiet time under the stars, in a tent, chatting about today's memories.
