table of contents
Summer vacation means the ocean, pools, and Hawaiians!
The vast grounds of Spa Resort Hawaiians include hotels, hot springs, pools, and more, so you can enjoy the feeling of summer no matter the season.
The hula girl show is especially spectacular! Therefore, the author, who has lived in Iwaki for 10 years and still visits Hawaiians every year, will share with you some strategies for enjoying Hawaiians.
History of Everlasting Paradise Spa Resort Hawaiians
Hawaiians opened in 1966 as the Tokiwa Hawaiian Center.
that uses underground hot spring water from the Tokiwa Coal Mine era and is inspired by the ``dream island of Hawaii.'' In 2006, the movie ``Hula Girl,'' , was released and gained popularity.
Enjoy Hawaiians on a day trip
In order to enjoy Hawaiians on a day trip, let's first check out the "free rest area".
Hawaiians doesn't have many benches or chairs to rest by the pool, and laying out leisure sheets is prohibited.
When it's busy, the place fills up before noon, so if possible, get in as soon as it opens and head to the rest area.
Depending on the congestion situation, the free rest areas on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors may be opened. It would be a good idea to lay out a leisure sheet to save space. You can also eat lunch at the rest area, so in my family we always buy pizza or hamburgers at the food court, or buy ramen or curry rice at the free rest area on the second floor, and then take a break at the rest area.
This is especially recommended if you have small children with you, as you can let them take a nap or take turns going to the pool.
Stay and enjoy Hawaiians
Hawaiians is adjacent to hotels such as Hotel Hawaiians, Monolith Tower, and Wilport , so guests can come and go in their swimsuits! Of course, you can play in the pool before and after check-in. Another great feature is that you can bring your own sandals and towels from the hotel, so you don't need to carry any luggage.
is open
until 9:30 p.m. It is a privilege for those staying at the hotel to be able to enjoy Hawaiians at night. The grand stage show at night is recommended. It's so powerful that you can't take your eyes off it from beginning to end!
In addition, ``Great Open-air Bath Edo Jowa Yoichi'' , creating a fantastical space that fuses the real world and the Edo period.
Hawaiians recommended! 4 selections
Hula girl show and fire dance show
If you visit Hawaiians, you must see the “Hula Girl Show” and “Fire Dance Show”
The Hula Girl Show, made famous by the movie ``Hula Girl,'' is held twice during the day and at night, with different content. The scenes reminiscent of movies and the elegant hula dancing are enough for some people to come just to see them.
You can also watch a high-level performance at the Fire Knife Dance Show. It's a powerful show that will keep your heart racing.
Free seats are available for daytime shows. All seats for the evening show are reserved seats. If you want to play in the pool until the last minute of the show, it's a good idea to secure a paid seat. Online reservations, where you can choose your seat in advance, are a little cheaper.
Aquarium pool “Fish Go Land”
``Fish Go Land'' has an aquarium with tropical fish, sharks, and more in the center of the flowing pool . You can enjoy the feeling of walking underwater with tropical fish. While looking at the aquarium, you can relax in the flowing pool and sway. It feels like taking a walk under the sea.
Water slide "Big Aloha"
"Big Aloha" is the longest body slide in Japan, with a height difference of 40.5m and a running distance of 283m. The starting point is the equivalent of the 10th floor of a building!
You can choose between the spiral line, which increases the speed you feel, and the wave line, which is unpredictable and scary. There is also a footbath next to the landing pool.
You can also enjoy hot springs
At Spa Resort Hawaiians, we use 3.5 tons of fresh hot spring water every minute from Iwaki Yumoto Onsen, which boasts an abundant amount of hot water. Iwaki Yumoto Onsen is one of Japan's three oldest hot springs, along with Arima Onsen and Dogo Onsen, and is also called ``Sahako no Yu.''
We especially recommend the ``Great Open-air Bath Edo Jowa Yoichi'', which
boasts one of the largest open-air baths in Japan and is very open. It's a place that I personally love, with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you've traveled back in time to the Edo period.
Hawaiians' belongings and precautions
What can I rent?
Swimsuits and floats can be rented. There is also an inflator for the float.
Do I need beach sandals and towels?
Shoes are strictly prohibited by the pool, but Hawaiians has long walking distances within the facility and involves a lot of climbing up and down stairs, so it's a good idea to bring flip-flops.
Also, the temperature is set at 28 degrees throughout the year, so you can enjoy the tropical feeling, but the air conditioning inside the building is quite effective while you are traveling. In winter, the outside air comes in and it's cold if you're wearing a wet swimsuit. It's a good idea to bring a towel by the pool so you can wipe your cold body.
The payment is?
For payment inside the facility, you can use cash, electronic money such as nanaco or WAON, and credit cards.
Be sure to have some change for lockers and vending machines. There are also coin lockers that you can put in and take out freely.
Can babies go in the pool?
The children's pool zone "Waiwai Ohana" has a "Tenshi no Mizuho" pool for babies who are still in diapers. You can use it while wearing a swimming diaper. There is also a diaper changing area and nursing area nearby.
Hawaiians strategy summary
Hawaiians offers a tropical atmosphere all year round.
In addition to the pool, there are shows and hot springs that people of all ages can enjoy. Hawaiians has a somewhat complicated interior structure, so first-time visitors may be confused. We hope you will refer to this article before you depart.
