Katagami City, Akita Prefecture, has developed a new product, ``Akitakomachi from Katagami City,'' which is packed with Akita Prefecture's leading brand of rice ``Akitakomachi'' in a specially designed rice bag with Akita's ``Namahage'' motif. We have started accepting donations as return gifts for the Katakami City Hometown Tax.

Jointly developed with a local rice sales company

This was jointly developed in collaboration with Komachi Line Co., Ltd., a rice sales company in Katakami City.It is a brand of Akita Prefecture rice that has been carefully grown by local farmers in Katakami City and is highly rated nationwide. '' is packed in a rice bag with the motif of ``Namahage'', which symbolizes the traditional culture of Akita Prefecture.

Currently, it is only sold in limited quantities through hometown tax donations in Katakami City, and from now on, it will be sold at the online shop of co-developer Komachi Line Co., Ltd., as well as at the Tenno Roadside Station in Katakami City, Akita Prefecture. It is scheduled to be sold at Nou Green Market.

After eating rice, make a “mask”!

After the rice is used up, you can cut out the bag and assemble it to use it as a mask for Akita's traditional Namahage. On the back of the bag, there are also instructions for making the masks.

Lineup and donation amount

The page is divided by rice polishing method, and you can choose your favorite from "brown rice", "white rice", and "wash-free rice".
