Hijiori Onsen, located in Okura Village, Yamagata Prefecture, is a heavy snowfall area where the snowfall exceeds 3 meters. Events are being held in the hot spring town completely covered in snow, using the magical lights that can only be achieved in an area with heavy snowfall.

A mysterious light that appears in the snow all around

The Hijiori Fantasy Snow Corridor, which will be held for the 17th time, is decorated with illuminations around the Dozan River that flows from Mt. Gassan, one of the three mountains of Dewa, creating a fantastic scenery.

Even though it's extremely cold, the colorful lights and the orange lights that are lit by many candles dug into the snow wall are enough to make you stop and admire them even when you're freezing.
