[Tsuruta Town, Aomori Prefecture] Feel like Sayuri Yoshinaga? "Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge" is a picturesque spot

Aomori Prefecture boasts abundant nature and numerous scenic spots.
This time, we'll introduce Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge, which has become particularly popular in recent years.
The beautiful scenery, which was also visited by actress Sayuri Yoshinaga, is well worth seeing!

What is Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge?

Mai Bridge is the longest wooden triple-arched bridge in Japan, located in Tsuruta Town, Aomori Prefecture, where many red-crowned cranes migrated during the Edo period. The
bridge spans Lake Tsugaru Fujimi, which reflects Mount Iwaki, one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains and known as "Tsugaru Fuji," and its appearance is said to be as beautiful as a crane in flight.

Why is it so popular?

Since its completion in 1994, Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge has been loved by locals as a new symbol of Tsuruta Town, but why has it become one of Aomori Prefecture's leading tourist spots in recent years?

The answer is that it was the filming location for JR East's "Adults' Holiday Club" commercials and posters, starring actress Sayuri Yoshinaga.
After the commercials aired in 2016, it became a hot topic with people asking, "Where is that beautiful place?" and "I want to go to the place Sayuri Yoshinaga went to too!", and its popularity spread nationwide.
