Hirosaki Castle, a precious cultural asset still standing in Aomori Prefecture Hirosaki Castle is a flatland castle located in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, that was the residence of the Tsugaru clan of the Hirosaki domain. It is a historic site, with the castle tower and turrets built during the Edo period still standing.
