Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo's new landmark, stands 634 meters tall!
Tokyo Skytree was built in 2012 as a new radio tower to replace Tokyo Tower.
A new symbol of Tokyo alongside Tokyo Tower
Tokyo Skytree is 634 meters tall, with the Tokyo Skytree Tembo Deck at 350 meters above ground and the Tokyo Skytree Tembo Galleria at 450 meters, offering panoramic views of the Tokyo cityscape.
The four elevators connecting the ground to the Tembo Deck go up and down at 600 meters per minute, transporting a capacity of 40 people in approximately 50 seconds. Each of the four elevators has a different interior inspired by the four seasons, and you can enjoy performances that are linked to the elevator's movement.

The observation deck offers a panoramic view of Tokyo, and on clear days you can even see Mount Fuji in the distance.
There are also restaurants, cafes, and shops where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Two more elevators extend from the Tembo Deck, connecting it to the Tembo Galleria in approximately 30 seconds at 240 meters per minute.
From the Tembo Galleria, you can enjoy an even more expansive view, and the glass-enclosed skywalk makes it feel like you're walking in the air.
In times of unstable weather, the observation deck may close early or even close altogether.
It is unfortunate that the conditions may prevent you from going up to the observation deck, but the facility has been highly praised for prioritizing the safety of visitors.
Tokyo Skytree, the world's tallest radio tower and the second tallest building, attracts many tourists from all over the world, as well as from within Japan.
The area surrounding the Skytree is home to a commercial facility called Tokyo Skytree Town, which not only stocks most of Tokyo's famous souvenirs, but also has numerous shops and restaurants, making it a popular tourist destination.
At night, Skytree is beautifully lit up, making it a popular date spot.
The illuminations change themes, allowing you to see a variety of different looks. The tree
is usually lit up in blue, based on the Japanese indigo and white theme, but from time to time it beautifully expresses a new theme, and many photography enthusiasts can be seen with their cameras at the ready.
