The Aizu Ramen Show will be held in Fukushima Prefecture for five days from Thursday, October 5th to Monday, October 9th, 2017. This is one of the largest ramen festivals in the Tohoku region, where you can enjoy famous ramen from all over the country. It's the perfect event for the autumn appetite!

"Aizu Ramen Show" Event Details

The Aizu Ramen Show will be held for five days from October 5th to 9th. As it falls over a three-day weekend, even those who work during the week will be able to participate. The
show will be open from 11:00 to 20:00 (until 17:00 on the final day) until late at night, so it's a great place to stop by after work.

The venue is the east entrance parking lot of Tsuruga Castle Park, a popular tourist spot in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. After touring Tsuruga Castle, you can enjoy some ramen to help you enjoy your trip to Fukushima Prefecture

What kind of stores will be opening?

The following six stores will be participating in the Aizu Ramen Show

  • Ginger soy sauce specialty restaurant Gamushara "Traditional Nagaoka Ginger Soy Sauce Ramen" (Niigata Prefecture)
  • Menya So's "Golden Fragrance Salt Ramen" (Tokyo)
  • Kawasakiya "Specially Selected Rich Pork Bone Soy Sauce Ramen" (Kanagawa Prefecture)
  • Kyoto Aged Thin Noodle Ramen Kyoto "Gion White Chicken Soup Chicken Soba" (Kyoto)
  • Wakamenkai "Aizu Shirobeko Ramen" (Fukushima Prefecture)

From thin noodles to medium-thick noodles, and from light to rich flavors, there is a wide variety of ramen to choose from. Come and try some ramen from all over Japan, all gathered in Aizuwakamatsu City!

How do I purchase ramen?

The Aizu Ramen Show operates a ticket system that is common to all stores. Tickets cost 750 yen (tax included), and toppings are paid for in cash at the store

Tickets are sold on-site from 10:50 to 19:45 on the day of the Ramen Show (until 16:45 on the final day), but as it is expected to be crowded, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance.
Tickets can be purchased at stores around the city, such as 7-Eleven, Lawson, Ticket Pia, and the Aizu Bus Shinmei-dori Information Center. However, there may be a ticket issuing fee, so be sure to check in advance.

You can buy souvenirs!

At the Ramen Show, you can not only eat ramen, but also purchase souvenirs. If you find a ramen that you think is delicious, you can buy it as a souvenir and enjoy it at home
